Arpanams respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you book an arpanam and how we use it. By using the app you agree to this policy.
When you book an offering we collect: • Beneficiary name, date of birth and (optional) time of birth • Your WhatsApp number — used to deliver the ritual video and as your account key • The prayer text or short voice recording you provide • Payment metadata from Razorpay (payment ID, status, amount) — we NEVER see your card / UPI details • Device / browser info (IP, user agent) via standard logs
• Perform the coconut arpanam ritual in the devotee's name • Chant the prayer during the ritual and share a short video on WhatsApp • Send order-status updates • Prevent fraud, keep the service secure and improve the product
Voice prayers are automatically DELETED from our database the moment the priest marks the order as completed. If the order is cancelled, the voice recording is deleted within 7 days. You may also email us any time to request earlier deletion.
We share the minimum data required with: • Razorpay — payment processing (governed by Razorpay's own privacy policy) • WhatsApp / Meta — for delivering the ritual video to your number • Cloud storage provider — encrypted at rest We do not sell your data. We do not run ad-tracking.
You can, at any time: view your past arpanams (My Arpanams), request deletion of your data, request a copy of your data, or ask us to correct anything. Just email support@arpanams.in.
We store only a single localStorage key ("na_wa_number") so returning users see their past arpanams. We do NOT use tracking cookies or analytics cookies.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Last updated: July 2026.
